Comedy moment at the shop across the road from the studio last night. Popped into by some beers for the guys and as I stood at the counter I noticed that the guy serving was standing there holding a burning match by his fingertips. “Curious”, I thought “People only burn a match like that if they’ve….” [...]
Classic gig at The Cavendish Arms in Stockwell yesterday night. Slap-bang in the middle of a pretty rough-looking Council Estate, it was a curious little venue. Behind the bar was a Punk sporting a huge pink mohican, on the counter was a photo of Jimmy Savile shaking hands with Elvis and in the back room was a guy on a [...]
Today I took the album over to the studio of the reputed Jon Astley from Close To The Edge for mastering. It feels amazing to have reached this final stage of the whole recording/mixing process at long last. At times along the way it’s felt like we’d never get here. And to have the album [...]
In order to have devoted time towards coming up with this video these guys clearly must have been tripping on Acid. They build a giant, pyschedelic boulder out of Lego (5 millions bricks) and roll it down a hill in San Francisco, whilst a guy dressed as Indiana Jones runs in front of it. Clearly [...]

First off, Steffi’s boyfriend’s house burnt down leaving nothing but a charred wreck. A discarded cigarette caught light to a pile of dead leaves which then set the garden shed ablaze and the whole lot went up [...]
Well, yet another chunk of time has been lost in the mixing of the ‘Get It Together’ album. I was supposed to be up in the studio both last night and today working on getting the final mix completed. Unfortunately, Steve, our Studio Engineer, had to leg it up to Nottingham to see his Dad [...]
I came across this somewhat unbelievable story about missiles that were designed to be piloted by pigeons. Bizarre as it may seem, back in the 1940s those mentalists in the US Military seriously considered developing a type of ‘homing’ missile that would be directed to it’s target by a pigeon. Highly trained Kamikaze pigeons, obviously. [...]
Just got back from a few days in Barcelona. Aside from all the other ‘attractions’ of the city, I love going to Barcelona as it’s a great place to check out some quality graffiti. Some really talented wall writers over there. Every shop in the city has these metal shutters that they drop down at [...]
